Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly) is a rapper with a distinct style. Baker was born on April 22 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. into the family that was of English Scottish and German descent. As a child, he spent a great period of his time on the road with his parents who were missionaries. James Colson Baker, his father, suffered depression as well as unemployment. His mother Sonia Alane had left him at the age of nine. Baker's father emigrated with his son to Denver and they lived at the uncle of his father. Other kids in the area had a tendency to bully Baker because he was poor. Baker began to listen to rap when he was in the sixth class. Colson Kelly was born as Machine Gun Kelly on April 22, 1989, in Texas. Most famous for his hip-hop infused rock and modern alternative. Baker was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2010, released four mixes between 2007 and 2010. Delivering lyrics with the speed of a train, this Cleveland rapper experienced a meteoric growth in the second half of 2011, when he made the transition from cranking out self-released mixtapes and then signing with well-known label. His career took off and each album charting within the top 10.
